Star WarsTESTBED
A living Star Wars roleplay sim in Second Life — set generations after the films, in an era we keep deliberately open. No fixed canon. No script. Your story.
A deep player economy, a tactical combat system, factions, bounties, businesses, housing and more — all woven into one persistent galaxy.

A Galaxy That Actually Works
Star Wars Testbed runs on custom-built systems — a real economy, persistent ownership, and tactical combat. Here's a taste of what you can do.
Combat System
Tactical, stat-driven combat with weapon tiers, armor, combat ranks and special abilities — all tracked by the HUD.
Businesses
Own and run businesses on the sim — unlock rooms, stock goods, and earn credits from real player demand.
Player Housing
Buy property with in-game credits, make it home, and build natively in-world as a verified resident.
Bounties
Post and hunt bounties. Track targets, claim rewards, and build a reputation across the galaxy.
Economy & Jobs
A full credit economy with jobs, salaries, a player market and resource gathering — every credit is earned.
Crafting & Lightsabers
Gather materials and craft gear — including building your own lightsaber from a kyber crystal at a workbench.
Factions & Banks
Recognized factions get their own org tools and an “entity bank” to fund operations and missions.
Medical & Hospitals
Get wounded, get treated. A working medical system with hospitals, beds and field care.
Transport Network
Shuttles and transport terminals move you across the sim and beyond. …and much more.
Factions
Factions are more than groups — they're recognized powers on the sim, with their own ranks, tools and resources. Pledge yourself to a cause, or carve your own way as an independent.
The Jedi Order
Keepers of the Force and the light. The Order runs a full membership system — applications, ranks from Youngling to Grand Master, training logs, missions and a faction treasury — managed through its own dedicated portal.

The Rules
A few ground rules keep the galaxy fair and immersive for everyone. (Full rulebook is shared in-world & on Discord.)
01 Respect Everyone
Treat players with respect out-of-character. No harassment, hate, or OOC drama — leave conflict in the story.
02 Consent-Based RP
No godmodding or forcing major outcomes (capture, permadeath, etc.) on another character without agreement.
03 Use the Systems
Combat, economy and gear run on the HUD and sim systems. Don't bypass or exploit them — play it straight.
04 Stay In Character
Keep IC and OOC separate. Use designated OOC channels; immersion makes the galaxy feel alive.
05 Lore & Setting
The era is open (300+ ABY) but stay believable within Star Wars — no out-of-setting tech or characters.
06 Follow SL & Staff
Second Life's Terms of Service & Community Standards apply. Staff decisions are final — reach out if unsure.
Placeholder rules — swap in your real rulebook anytime.
